Powers

 

Prue's Powers

 telekinesis1.gif  Telekinesis- The ability to move objects with one's mind. This power was first triggered through anger. At first, Prue could only channel this power by squinting her eyes which limited it to a certain extent. However, her power grew and she was able to channel it through her hands as well, allowig her to use it in new ways. This is an active power.
 astral1.gif  Astral Projection- The power to project the physical image of oneself to some other place and control the image while the real self is temporarily unconscious. This power was first triggered by the desire to be in two places at once. At first, Prue had little control over this power but later gained full control over it. Prue could not use her power of telekinesis while in astral form. This is an active power.

 Prue's Future Power

   If Prue would have not died she could have gained the power of telepathy. Considering the pattern of the growth of her powers, the ability to move things with her mind, the ability to move her body with her mind, why not receive the power to move your thoughts with your mind. With this power she would be able to send her thoughts to other people's minds and also hear their thoughts as well. This power would have given Prue an advantage while fighting demons and warlocks. It would have given her the opportunity to know what her opponent will do before they do it by reading their minds. Sadly we will not know if Prue would have ever received this power.

 Piper's Powers

 freeze-op.gif Temporal Stasis/Molecular Inhibition/Freezing- The ability to slow down molecules until they stop moving or to simply put, stop time. This power was first triggered through panic attacks. Piper's control over this power grew allowing her to freeze objects and people for longer periods of time, to be able to unfreeze certain people while others stay frozen, and to unfreeze certain parts of the body first while the rest of the body remains frozen. This is an active power.
 temp-com.gif  Temporal Combustion/Molecular Combustion- The ability to manipulate the molecular structure of an object, thus causing it to separate with an explosive action. This power was first triggered through frustration. Piper didn't have much contol of this power when she first recieved it, but she now has full control over it. This is an active power.

 Piper's Future Power

  In the future Piper could receive the power of invisibility. Piper could recieve this power because it deals with manipulating molecules. Piper could manipulate her molecules to not reflect light causing her to be invisible. This power would come in handy when trying to hide from demons or warlocks. It would also give her an advantage in sneaking up on warlocks or demons.

 Piper's Evil Power

 piper_warlock_freeze.gif  In the episode Bride and Gloom, Prue was forced to marry a warlock in a dark ceremony which caused her and her sisters to become evil. However, The sisters weren't the only ones corrupted by this evil matrimony, their powers and the Book of Shadows also became evil. For instance in the picture on the left Piper's freezing power was altered to literally freeze objects, such as her wedding planner. They also received warlock powers such as blinking, object manipulation, etc.

While Piper was evil she used her new power to torture the dark priestess, who married Prue to the warlock, to find out where Prue was. Not only that, but she used her powers on Leo and had Phoebe smash his forzen form. Later Piper and Phoebe used their new warlock powers to find Prue, so they would be reunited as the Evil Charmed Ones.

Once they located Prue the dark priestess cast a spell to turn Prue against her sisters. The warlock Prue was forced to marry used his glamouring power and transformed into Prue. Piper and Phoebe quickly identified the real Prue and Piper used her new freezing power to vanquish the warlock, causing herself and her sisters to retun to normal, as well as their powers and the Book of Shadows. The act also reversed all of the evil deeds they'd done, including killing Leo.

 Phoebe's Powers

 phoebepower.gif  Premonitions- The ability to have visions from the past or future, often happening abruptly or by touching objects that has something to do with the premonition. At first Phoebe had little control over this power, but is now able to have a premonition if she concentrates hard enough. This is an passive power.

Levitation- The ability to make oneself wieghtless and float in the air. Phoebe most likely channels the psychic energy naturally around her (due to her power of premonition) to boost her self and defy gravity. Like her power of premonition Phoebe couldn't always levitate when she wanted to. Now she has complete control over this power. Phoebe's power of levitation aides her well in her martial arts. This is an active power.

 Phoebe's Future Power

phoebe_the_murderer.jpeg  In Season 2 Episode 2, Morality Bites, we see Phoebe's third power. In this episode Phoebe has a premonition of herself levitating behind a baseball player and placing her hands on either side of his head and what looks like electricity coming from her hands and killing the baseball player. Many people are unsure of what this power is. Some call it tele-empathy. Tele-empathy is an aspect of the power of premonition. It's the ability to make people relive over and over within a matter of seconds the worst moments of their life, knocking them unconscious, and if it wished, even killing them. Others believe it is electrokinesis. Electrokinesis is the ability to project electricity through ones hands. Whatever this power is, it is extremely powerful.

Phoebe's Evil Power

 fire_throw.gif  In season four when Phoebe was married to Cole, while he was the Source, and was pregnant with his demonic child she, like all pregnant witches, was able to channel the powers of her baby. Phoebe begin using her baby's power of fire throwing. So due to the influence of her unborn baby's demonic powers Phoebe became evil and turned against her sisters, joining Cole and becoming the Queen of the underworld.
   While Phoebe was evil she also used her baby's power of flaming out. Although Phoebe joined Cole in the underworld, she still remained loyal to her duties as a Charmed One after having a premonition of an innocent being killed by one of Cole's demonic hit man. In the end Phoebe was forced to pick a side, good or evil. Phoebe chose good and vanquished Cole with the help of her sisters.

 Paige's Powers

 orb1.gif  Telekinetic Orbing- The same definition as Prue's as to move objects. However, as she is half white-lighter, her method of moving objects is slightly different. When Paige calls for an object it will 'orb' first before it reaches its destination. Paige's power, unlike Prue's, doesn't have the limitations of walls. This is an active power.
 teleorb1.gif  Orbing- The ability to teleport from one place to another in a shimmer of blue and white orbs. This power was first triggered by fear. At first Paige could only orb and reappear in the same place, but now her power has grown and she can orb from one place to another. This is an active power.
 heal09.jpeg  Healing- The ability to instantly heal a wound or injury. The trigger to this power is love. This power does have it's limitations seeing as it will only work on mortals or witches with injuries caused by a demonic act. This power is very passive to Paige, seeing as she can only use this power with Leo's help. This is an passive power.
 

Sensing-The ability to locate other beings such as witches, white-lighters, innocents, etc., near or far away from oneself by sensing for them. Paige has full control over this power although she rarely uses it. This is an passive power.

   Glamouring- The ability to transform one's physical image into any being. This is a power white-lighters as well as witches possess. Paige has full control over this power. This power does have it limits. The owner can not glamour into inorganic objects. This is an passive power.

 Paige's Future Power

   Paige's future power is a mystery. With her being half witch and half white-lighter there are a number of different powers she can receive. Since she already has white-lighter powers (orbing, healing, sensing, and glamouring), and a mixture of a white-lighter power and a witch power (telekinetic orbing) Paige will probably receive a witch power. Since Paige and Prue share the same power, Paige could receive the power of telepathy for the same reason Prue could have. This power would give Paige an advantage while fighting demons or warlocks. It would give her the opportunity to know what her opponent will do before they do it by reading their minds.

Or Paige could gain the power of deflection. With this power Paige would be able to reflect/deflect any power or spell used against her. Due to the fact that she would technically be moving these things away from her, the power of deflection would be an expansion of her telekinetic powers.

 Paige's Evil Power

   Paige, like her older sisters, has had her times of being tempted by dark side. She like Phoebe has a dark side due to her evil past life. Paige's first trip down the path of evil was not to long after she became a witch. The Source, in an attempt to keep her from joining her sisters and reconstituting the power of three, lured her to the dark side and convinced her to use her powers for evil. Paige had used her powers against her sisters, but she eventually returned to normal after choosing her sisters over the Source.
   A second time Paige became evil was when she was infected with the power of a Brooker demon. During which she went crazy and tried to kill Cole. Paige returned to normal when her sisters had the Brooker demon remove the power from her. A third time Paige became evil was when a Vampire Queen ordered her fanged charges to attack Paige and turn her into a blood-sucker to get a Charmed One on their side, with hopes of unseating Cole as the ruler of the Underworld. Paige then attacked her sisters, by order of the Vampire Queen, to turn them as well so that the she would have the Charmed Ones on her side. Paige became herself again after the Vampire Queen was vanquished.
   Paige was tempted by evil not to long after Phoebe and Cole were married in The Fifth Halliwheel. Feeling like the fifth wheel Paige felt out of place with her sisters. The situation got worse when Paige became convinced Cole was still a demon. Cole taking advantage of the rift between the sisters, had a Brooker demon infect Paige with a demon power, that would drive her crazy and eventually kill her.

While infected Paige went on rampage and nearly destroyed the manor. She used her powers to track down Cole and tried to kill him using the Brooker demon's power. Paige returned to normal after her sisters (with help from Cole, unbeknowest to them) had the Brooker demon's power removed from her.

Leo's Powers

 orb_leo2.gif As Leo is a whitelighter he has many powers. He has a healing touch. He can heal wounds on people. He cannot heal animals or bring the dead back to life. His other power is orbing. This is a form of transportation. It ables him to travel to the place in which the elders are. It also works by him wanting to orb to his charge and he will be taken there immediatly. He can also track his charges. He can sense them to know where they are. In one episode he demostrated another power in which he threw harmless balls of light into the air. Leo has also demostrated levitation, object manipulation, morphing, regeneration and thermal powers among other abilities.

 Cole's Powers

 colepower3.gif Not much is known about Cole's powers. He has his own form of transportation called Shimmering. This is slower than orbing. He can shimmer from place to place and plane to plane. He can also throw electricity balls. This will kill all humans and witches and most warlock and demons. Sometimes different things happen when someone has had an electricity ball thrown at them. They will either burst into flames then explode or be totaly electrified and then explode. He has also demonstrated object manipulation. Cole was stripped of his powers and became mortal. Then he was possessed by the Hollow and help destroy the Source. Now Cole has the powers of the source and is turning into him. The Source has many powers from fireballs throwing to fire self transportation to a blue stream of powerful energy.
